That’s what many Holocaust survivors have done. By speaking about how hatred takes root and what happens when people don’t stand up to hatred, they take the dark days of the Holocaust and create light. Beth Luers, author and retired history professor, has spent years interviewing survivors and documenting their stories. Join us as she shares some of these survivor stories and describes her experiences assisting survivors to “create light.”
This presentation will be given at the Allegany College of Maryland at 10am in the Continuing Education Building, the first building on the right as you enter the campus.
